PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which in a bank bill storage, when a size of a bank bill is different or moisture or the like is contained in the bank bill even with the same size, a total weight might be different even with the same number of bank bills, but a conventional art has no means for detecting a weight of the bank bill, and since an electric current control of a motor moving a pressure plate provided in the bank bill storage requires holding force in consideration to a maximum weight at all times, the motor is controlled at an electric current having the maximum weight expected, and thus, when the number of bank bills in the bank bill storage is small, much power has been unnecessarily consumed.SOLUTION: A sensor is configured to be added that is capable of detecting a movement direction of a pressure plate loading a bank bill in a bank bill storage and a movement distance thereof. From added sensor information, the movement direction and the movement distance are calculated, and an electric current value can be set that corresponds to a weight by referring to an electric current correction table.
