Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain at a low cost the title fabric which uses a polyester multifilament having physical properties at ordinary levels, has a good weavability, adheres well to a backup material comprising a polyethylene film, and is strong when wet and easily cut by hand.
CONSTITUTION: The title fabric is produced by using a resin-treated warp which is obtd. by depositing a polyolefin-polyurethane resin on a polyester multifilament in an amt. of the resin of 2-8wt.% based on the multifilament. The fabric is used as it is without being scoured.
