Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of overload to prevent the damage of a machine and to enhance kneading effect to uniformize quality.
CONSTITUTION: In a batchwise mixer wherein a pair of rotors 5, 6 are provided in a kneading chamber 4 hermetically closed by a casing 2 and end frames 3A, 3B so as to be rotatable in alternately reverse directions and a pushing-in ram is fitted in a material charging port 9 to be allowed to fall to allow pressing force to act on the material in the chamber 4, the number of the teeth of each of the connecting pinion 7 and gear 8 fixed to the shafts of both rotors 5, 6 and meshed with each other is set to a measure and the phase angle θof each of the rotors 5, 6 is set to 25-45°.
