Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that is effective in preventing an adverse effect to the equipment when detaching a battery installed in a battery power driven tool.
SOLUTION: This is a battery driven power tool which comprises a main unit 103 that has a motor 121 for driving a work tool to carry out a prescribed process on a processed material, a battery 141 that is installed in the main unit 103 detachably and drives a motor 121, a battery detachment restriction means 173 that restricts the battery 141 from detaching from the main unit 103 when the motor 121 is driven, and allows the battery to be detached from the main unit 103 only in the state when the drive of the motor 121 is stopped.
