Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric leakage prevention structure for a battery capable of improving waterproofness of a battery terminal without impairing mountability of a battery cover.SOLUTION: An elastic sheet 8 fixed to a battery cover 7 for covering top faces of batteries 4A and 4B from the above includes cable insertion sections 58 and 59 suspending from a prescribed range including the vertical above of cables 5a and 5b. At least lower regions of the cable insertion sections 58 and 59 are divided into a plurality of strip sections 60a and 60b by a plurality of slits extending upward from lower end edges of the cable insertion sections 58 and 59. The cables connected to battery terminals 11 on the top faces of the batteries 4A and 4B supported on a vehicle body frame 2 are inserted into a gap 63 formed by elastic deformation of two sheets of adjacent strip sections 65 and 66 of the plurality of strip sections 60a and 60b and are extended to the outside from a battery upper region 10 covered with the battery cover 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
