Abstract:

PURPOSE: To lower vibrations and noises while shortening the term of work and reducing cost by alternately conducting the irradiation with laser beams and the injection of a coolant to a facing and breaking a bedrock by thermal stress.

CONSTITUTION: A laser irradiation means composed of laser transmission paths 5..., reflecting mirrors 6..., laser nozzles 3 and a lens 7 is provided, and a facing 9 is irradiated with laser beams 8. A coolant supply means consisting of coolant supply paths 10... and coolant injection nozzles 4 is provided, and a coolant 11 is injected to the facing 9. The quick heating of a bedrock by the irradiation of laser beams 8 and the quick cooling of the bedrock by the injection of the coolant are conducted alternately, and the bedrock of the facing 9 is broken by thermal stress.
