Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for controlling belt drive which can drive a belt at a predetermined moving speed without influence of the belt thickness fluctuation while suppressing increase of the cost, a belt device, a process cartridge, an image forming device, a program and a recording medium.
SOLUTION: The rotational angular displacement or the rotational angular velocity of a driven roller 502 is detected. The AC component of the rotational angular velocity having the frequency corresponding to the periodic thickness fluctuation in the circumferential direction of a belt 500 is extracted from the result of detection. The rotation of a driving roller 501 is controlled based on the amplitude and the phase of the AC component.
