PURPOSE: To reduce a number of changes of parts and dispersion of bent shapes by forming a contact surface of a work guide part of a fixed die from metallic material of Cu-Be series alloy excellent in slidability and wear resistance.
CONSTITUTION: When a movable die 2 makes three dimensional deflective and displacing operation while a work is energized by a work feeder 3 with work communicating holes 4, 5 of both fixed and movable dies 1, 2 a specified bending is applied to the work W with the movable die 2 as a point of application and with a chip 21 for a bending fulcrum as a fulcrum. In the course of this bending operation the work is moved at it is pressed strongly to the inner surface of the liner 18 for the work guide. Since the liner 18 is made by Cu-Be series alloy, seizure, galling by adhesion of the work to the liner 18, etc., are prevented from being generated and abrasion loss, too, is suppressed.
