Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R1 is F or H; R2 is Cl or H; R3 is F, Br or lower haloalkyl; X and Y are O or S).
EXAMPLE: N-2,6-Difluorobenzoyl-N'-3,5-dichloro-4-[4-(trifluoromethoxy) anilino]phenylurea.
USE: An insecticide and acaricide having high fatal activity especially against larvae and young imagoes of Tetranychidae and sterilizing activity against female imagoes.
PREPARATION: A benzoyl isocyanate or benzoyl isothiocyanate compound shown by formula II is reacted with a 4-anilinoaniline compound shown by formula III in an inert solvent such as toluene at 0W80°C to give a compound shown by formula I.
