Title:
BEVEL PROTRACTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3876209
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bevel protractor capable of reading at least down to one minute.
SOLUTION: A turret 3 fitted with a blade 2 is pivoted on one end of a body 1, and a blade coarse-operation rotating shaft 5 is provided on the center side of the body 1. The blade coarse-operation rotating shaft 5 is linked to a turret through reduction gears 6 and 7. The blade coarse-operation rotating shaft 5 is provided with a circumferential scale 8 that indicates, in unit of at least one degree, the angle of 0° to at least 90° formed between the blade 2 and a measurement reference edge F on the body 1 side. The other end side of the body 1 is provided with a blade fine-operation rotating shaft 10 comprising a circular scale 9 indicating 0-60 minutes in unit of one minute. The blade fine-operation rotating shaft 10 is linked with the blade coarse-operation rotating shaft 5 through a gear train reduction mechanism 11 that shifts the blade coarse-operation rotating shaft 5 by amount of one degree of the circular scale 8 when the blade fine-operation rotating shaft 10 is rotated one turn.
