To provide a beverage-use powdery food having a high residence feeling in a throat and suppressed in entangling around a mouth in drinking.SOLUTION: The beverage-use powdery food includes the following components (A) and (B): (A) 0.02 mass% or more and 2 mass% or less of menthol; and (B) thickening polysaccharides, and has a viscosity of 10 to 9000 mPa s at 25°C when it is diluted by 20 mass times with water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
