Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a sensor which measures a clearance, between an inner peripheral wall surface of a casing and a rotary blade thereinside, in a desired position without using a moving mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A base 13 is fixed to a casing 11. A center electrode 15 is hung inside a center port 14 of the base 13 in a static state. Inactive gas is supplied into the center port 14, and injected into the casing. Voltage to the center electrode 15 is increased and a spark electric discharge starting voltage is sensed. A gap between an inner periperal surface of the casing 11 and an object 12 calculated from the voltage and a gas pressure.
