Abstract:
PURPOSE:To correct a hand blur with a small storing capacity by storing the distribution of comparison values detected at every block in the longitudinal and transversal directions in a datacompressed state and setting movement vectors at every block, and then, selecting the movement vector having the highest frequency. CONSTITUTION:A comparator circuit 4 compares luminance signals with a reference output at a prescribed sampling period and outputs comparison outputs which become high in level during the period during which the luminance signals exceeding the reference output are inputted as binary coded data. The comparison outputs are stored in the first storing means 5 during effective video periods. All data stored in both storing means 5 and 6 are simultaneously read out at a high speed whenever the video period of each frame is completed to specify movement vectors. A movement vector specifying means 22 specifies the counter having the largest count value at every completion of counting operation, finds all horizontal moving amounts at every block, and successively finds vertical moving amounts. Then the means 23 successively stores the found moving amounts in a movement memory 23 and completes the movement vector of each block.
