The braid and the electrically insulated protective sleeve, having the excellent electrically insulating properties, heat resistance and melting resistance, can be obtained by using a polyphenylene sulfide oxide fiber having 10% crystallinity in the measurement by wide angle X-ray diffraction, 15 J/g amount of heat of fusion in the measurement by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and 10-50 dtex fineness.
