Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided yarn having large strength and elongation, excellent in dye-ability, and suitably used as a fishing line or a raw yarn of a fabric.SOLUTION: The braided yarn is formed by combining a plurality of covering yarns in which a core yarn composed of multi-filaments of liquid crystal polymer is covered with a sheath yarn composed of aliphatic polyamide multi-filaments or semi-aromatic polyester multi-filaments. The ratio of areas where the sheath yarns exist on a surface of the braided yarn is preferably 60-100%. The mass ratio (core/sheath) of the core yarns to the sheath yarns is preferably 0.2-5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
