Abstract:
PURPOSE: To linearly decelerate a beam and stop the beam at a proper position without the generation of the breakage of warps.
CONSTITUTION: A brake control device for a warper or the like is characterized by disposing a brake voltage generator 11 for outputting a voltage voltage Vc, a function generator 14 and an one shoot pulse generator 15a. The function generator 14 and the one shoot pulse generator 15a control the application time of an overexcitation voltage Va with a brake voltage Vc, and prevents the generation of unnecessary peaks in an excitation electric current I, when an excitation voltage V is switched from the overexcitation voltage Va to the brake voltage Vc.
