Abstract:
To provide a brake releasing device for an elevator that can obtain large operating force while miniaturizing the whole device and improve the working efficiency of release work.
A pressing mechanism 29 presses a traction body 27 between rotating rollers 25, 26 to apply tension to the traction body 27 and an inner wire 13 to thereby release a brake device 6. The pressing mechanism 29 includes a screw part 30 screwed into a threaded hole 24b; a handle part 31 for manually rotating the screw part 30; and a pressing body 32 inserted in a handle mounting part 24a so that the lower end of the screw part 30 abuts thereon.
