The non-human mammal containing the targeted breakage of glutathione S-transferase-Ω-1 gene, and an animal cell. This method for treating IL-1 mediating and/or inflammation-mediating disorders in mammals contains a step for administering a substance for inhibiting the GST-Ω-1 activity.
