The broadcast reception communication apparatus 204 receives the contents from the broadcast transmission apparatus (broadcast station) 201 and also requests the communication site (server) 202 to transmit data contents having not received yet from the broadcast transmission apparatus (broadcast station) 201 and acquires the data. The communication site (server) 202 provides contents to the broadcast transmission apparatus (broadcast station) 201 through a communication path in units of segments to allow the concerned broadcast transmission apparatus (broadcast station) 201 to improve the contents acquisition efficiency depending on its connection communication capability.
