Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a contact state of a brush with a commutator.SOLUTION: A brush apparatus 10 includes a brush holder 34 arranged on the radial outside of a commutator 26 and a coil spring 36 arranged in the brush holder 34 and capable of expanding and contracting in the radial direction of the commutator 26. The brush apparatus 10 further includes a brush 38 arranged in the brush holder 34 and having a commutator abutting surface 56 abutting on the commutator 26 and a coil spring abutting surface 58 abutting on the coil spring 36 and inclined from an axial direction of the commutator 26. The brush 38 includes an engagement projection part 60 formed so as to be projected from the coil spring abutting surface 58 to the coil spring 36 side and so as to be narrowed toward the coil spring 36 side. When the coil spring 36 is engaged with the engagement projection part 60, the engagement projection part 60 is arranged on the radial inside of the coil spring 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
