To provide a technique by which electromagnetic coils can be used sufficiently and effectively.
A brushless electric machine (100) includes a first member (30U) having a plurality of first permanent magnets (32U), a second member (30L) having a plurality of second permanent magnets (32L), and a third member (10) having a plurality of electromagnetic coils (12A, 12B). The first and second members (30U, 30L) are arranged at both sides sandwiching the third member (10), and the first and second members (30U, 30L) can move relatively to the third member (10). The plurality of first permanent magnets (32U) and the plurality of second permanent magnets (32L) are arranged at the positions where the same poles face each other sandwiching the third member (10). The electromagnetic coils (12A, 12B) are arranged equally on the first member side and the second member side of the third member (10).
