Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a brushless motor controller which can supply the rotational information of a brushless motor to other control system.
SOLUTION: A pole detecting section 9 receives a signal (pole detection signal) concerning to the position of a rotor from a Hall element in a motor roller 4 and performs pulse waveform processing to produce a processing signal being delivered to a current switching section 8. Based on the processing signal received from the pole detecting section 9, the current switching section 8 controls current supply to a stator thus realizing rotation of the motor roller 4. A control section 7 is provided with control signals, including a motor on/off signal (rotation, stop), from a sequencer 20 and a processing signal based on that signal is delivered to the current switching section 8. A pulse generating section 19 receives a pole detection signal from the Hall element and generates a pulse waveform signal being delivered to an external output terminal 11a. The pulse waveform signal is delivered from the external output terminal 11a to a host control system through a signal line 14.
