To obtain a new building material having excellent heat resistance.
The building material comprises a fiber-reinforced plastic composed of a CP resin selected from the group consisting of (a) a crosslinked polyesteramide resin obtained by reacting 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)bis-2-oxazoline with an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, p-oxybenzoic acid and salicylic acid and curing the reaction product, (b) a crosslinked polyaminoamide resin obtained by reacting 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)bis-2-oxazoline with an aromatic diamine and curing the reaction product, (c) an epoxy resin-modified crosslinked polyaminoamide resin obtained by reacting 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)bis-2-oxazoline with the aromatic diamine and an epoxy resin and curing the reaction product, (d) a crosslinked polyetheramide resin obtained by reacting 2,2'-(1,3- phenylene)bis-2-oxazoline with a phenol novolak resin and curing the reaction product and (e) an epoxy resin-modified crosslinked polyetheramide resin obtained by reacting 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)bis-2-oxazoline with the phenol novolak resin and the epoxy resin and curing the reaction product and a continuous fiber.
