Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to the prevention or suppression of bend of a bumper reinforcement main body by collision load.SOLUTION: In a vehicle front structure 12, when a vehicle 14 collides with a center pole, for example, the bending moment is generated at a center part of a bumper reinforcement main body 24 in a vehicle width direction so that the bumper reinforcement main body is bent to a vehicle rear side. Since a center bulk 26 having an energy absorption part 27 is fixed to a center part of the vehicle width direction, the center bulk 26 functions as reinforcement of the bending moment. Furthermore, when the vehicle 14 brings about fine lap collision, for example, the bending moment is generated at an end side of the bumper reinforcement main body 24 in the vehicle width direction so that a region at the outside of the vehicle width direction rather than a crush box 22 is bent to a rear side of the vehicle. Since a side bulk 28 having an energy absorption part 29 is fixed to the end side of the vehicle width direction, the side bulk 28 functions as reinforcement of the bending moment.
