Abstract:
PURPOSE: To measure the performance of a bus at the time of transferring data from plural information processors through a common bus.
CONSTITUTION: Request time counters 50-52 count time from a data transfer request to data transfer termination in accordance with respective information processors 30-32. Transfer time counters 60-62 count time from data transfer start to data transfer termination. Thus, respective ratios between the transfer time counters and the request time counters are obtained for respective corresponding processors and the processors whose transfer wait time is long, short or average can be discriminated by the ratios.
