Abstract:
To provide a means for cutting a cable in such a way as to minimize its remainder when laying the cable.
A cable span length setting and changing system is the one that prepares patterns for uncertain factors in deciding a cable length in advance and determines the cable length in accordance with a pattern when laying a cable described in a cable-laying list, is provided with a means for inputting a pattern number and a device for computing the length of the cable to be laid using the pattern number and the cable-laying list. When the pattern number is inputted, the length of the cable to be laid is calculated in such a way that the margin in cutting an individual cable is reduced to the necessary minimum.
