PURPOSE: To improve a driving feeling, with the variation of a vehicle steering characteristic due to acceleration and deceleration restrained, by controlling an actuator for adjusting the camber angle of each wheel based on fore and aft acceleration acting on a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: Actuators 2, 4, 6, and 8, having a hydraulic cylinder constitution for adjusting each camber angle of front and rear wheels, are provided, and electromagnetic control valves 10, 12, 14, and 16 are equipped to a supply passage 18 connected to the discharge side of a pump 20 for controlling each actuator 2 - 8. Each of control valves 10 - 16 is controlled with a controller 32 corresponding to a vehicle traveling condition via a drive circuit 30. In controlling with the controller 32, an output signal of such as a fore and aft acceleration sensor 52 is inputted in the controller 32, and each of control valves 10 - 16 is controlled based on fore and aft acceleration acting on the vehicle. This permits the restrain of the variation of a vehicle steering characteristic due to acceleration and deceleration at the time of vehicle traveling to improve a driving feeling.
