Title:
CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH055945
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inexpensively execute magnetic recording without causing overlap between frames by controlling a magnetic recording range in one frame based on the feeding quantity of a film.

CONSTITUTION: A camera where a film provided with a magnetic storage part and a film cartridge provided with a disk, on which information on the concerned film is recorded in the shape of a bar code and which is integrally rotated with a spool, are loaded and which can detect the bar code and simultaneously record and reproduce the information with respect to the magnetic storage part by a magnetic head, is equipped with a bar code detection means which detects the bar code while the film is fed, a decoding means which executes conversion to a digital signal based on the output of the detection means, a count means which counts the output time of the bar code detection means, an arithmetic means which calculates the rotational speed of the spool while correcting the counted value of the count means by the digital signal by a step 108, a film feeding quantity calculation means which calculates the feeding quantity of the film based on the calculated result of the arithmetic means by steps 109 and 113 and a control means which starts the magnetic recording according to the feeding quantity of the film.
