Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cannula capable of effectively delivering a small amount of liquid medicine without complicating the structure.SOLUTION: The cannula includes: an extra-fine tube 1; an enlarging adapter having a different outside diameter from a distal end towards a proximal end; a protective tube 3 for protecting the extra-fine tube 1; and an injector hub 4. The cannula is so formed that the extra-fine tube 1 is penetratingly inserted into the enlarging adaptor 2 having different outside diameter from the distal end to the proximal end, and the protective tube 3 for protecting the extra-fine tube 1, and the extra-fine tube 1 and the injector hub 4 are brought into contact therewith via an injection needle. The injector hub 4 is inserted into the injector, and the injector is fitted to a pump for controlling an extraction amount of liquid. The cannula thus inserted into the deep brain can accurately deliver a minute amount (50 μl to several m) of liquid medicine.
