Abstract:
To provide a cap that can reduce ink that adheres to a nozzle surface.SOLUTION: A cap 80A comprises: a cap main body 82, opened upward and formed of elastically deformable materials, which covers a nozzle surface 33Z and forms a sealed space 80S between the nozzle surface 33Z and the body; and a porous ink absorber 83 that is stored in the cap main body 82 and absorbs ink discharged from a plurality of first nozzles 33X and second nozzles 33Y. The ink absorber 83 comprises: a base part 83A held on the cap main body 82; and a protrusion part 83C protruding upward from the base part 83A, which does not overlap with the plurality of first nozzles 33X and second nozzles 33Y in a planar view, when the sealed space 80S is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
