To provide a capacitor, having a core that can allow a cooling medium to flow in from an external cooling device for cooling a center part for generating heat the most, and secures sealing properties between the inside/outside of the capacitor and the cooling medium.
The core, made of a heat-conductive metal material for allowing heat generated at the center to escape to the outside, has a through-hole near the center, can be connected to the external cooling device and allows the cooling medium to flow into the center of the core. By winding an electrode material around the core as a capacitor element, heat generated from the capacitor can be cooled efficiently, when a voltage and a current are applied.
