Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable capacitor with security function in which firing and smoking are prevented and the case is prevented from breaking to leak a substance therein.
SOLUTION: The capacitor 39 with security function comprises a capacitor element 1 having internal terminals being led out, a case 7 for the capacitor element 1 having a thin part 9, a cover 10 for the case 7 provided with external terminals 11, 12 to be connected with one end 13, 14 of the internal terminals, and a switch 15 encased in the case 7 while being connected with the other end 16, 17 of the internal terminals and short-circuiting the internal terminals in response to expansion of the thin part 9.
