To provide a carbonization apparatus capable of effectively carbonizing relatively large-sized objects to be treated by automatically collecting the objects.
In an apparatus 10 for automatically treating pruned-off-branches, a collection part 50 picks up pruned-off-branches S as the objects to be treated fallen on the ground and supplies the same to a fine cutting part 30 when a self-propelled vehicle 12 mounted with respective parts containing the fine cutting part 30 and a carbonization part 36 travels. The fine cutting part 30 fine-cuts the pruned-off-branches S into fine-cut pieces Sb. The fine-cut pieces Sb are automatically supplied to the carbonization part 36 and are carbonized by the carbonization part 36 and carbonized material Sc is produced. Because the fine-cutting is performed at the fine cutting part 30 before the carbonization by means of the carbonization part 36 is performed, the pruned-off-branches S which are relatively large-sized objects to be treated can be effectively carbonized and a series of collection, fine cutting and carbonization can be automatically performed.
