Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for detecting Escherichia coli and Vibrio parahaemolyticus both including non-pathogenic strains, as well as pathogenic E. coli and pathogenic Vibrio parahaemolyticus at the same time with high specificity, and for specifically detecting four bacterial species in a sample at the same time, that is, E. coli, salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus and Vibrio parahaemolyticus.SOLUTION: The invention provides a carrier for detecting four food poisoning bacterial species, which carrier comprises immobilized probes, that is, three or more probes selected from each of pyrH, vtx1 and vtx2 of E. coli, one or more probes selected from salmonella invA, one or more probes selected from dnaJ of Staphylococcus aureus, four or more probes selected from each of toxR, tdh, trh1 and trh2 of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
