Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting device capable of ensuring a good molten metal quality.SOLUTION: A casting device 10 comprises a furnace casing 15 and a hot plate 30. A melting chamber 17 of the furnace casing 15 includes: a first space 51 where the hot plate 30 is placed; a second space 52 located above a first path 25 of the furnace casing 15; and a through hole 53 connecting the first space 51 to the second space 52. The hot plate 30 has a material mount surface 31 on which a material can be mounted, heats and melts the material input into the first space 51 of the melting chamber 17. The material mount surface 31 has irregularities. A dross 94 generated on the material mount surface 31 is generated to cover molten metal 93 while being partially caught up in the irregularities of the material mount surface 31, and most of the dross 94 remains on the material mount surface 31. Owing to this, it is possible to suppress the dross 94 from flowing into heat-insulated molten metal in the first path 25 and ensure a good molten metal quality.
