To provide a casting method in which the yield of molten metal as raw material is high.
The casting method is performed by using a lower mold which is a main mold formed by various kinds of mold-forming methods, and has no cavity required for achieving a casting plan but has only a cavity required for casting a casting product, and an upper mold which is a main mold formed by various kinds of mold-forming methods, and has no cavity for achieving a casting plan, but has a projection part capable of demarcating the cavity for casting a casting product. After pouring molten metal of the required amount to cast only the casting product into the cavity of the lower mold, the projection part of the upper mold is allowed to advance into the cavity with the molten metal poured therein to demarcate the cavity required to casting only the casting product, and the upper mold overlaps the lower mold.
