Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic converter which sufficiently secures the strength of a portion in which a catalyst support is supported.SOLUTION: A catalytic converter 1 includes a cap 30 for supporting a catalyst support 10 in a cylindrical case 15. The cap 30 includes: a case side coupling part 32 coupled to a case outer cylinder 20; a support side coupling part 31 coupled to an outer periphery of the catalyst support 10; and an inclined part 33 which extends ranging from the case side coupling part 32 to the support side coupling part 31 in a state where its cross section inclines relative to a center line O of the catalyst support 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
