Abstract:
To provide a method for performing multiphase reaction especially suitable for producing a vinyl ester by catalytically reacting a carboxylic acid with acetylene.
When performing catalytic multiphase reaction in a tubular reactor, a catalyst is included in a continuous phase, at least one educt is contained in a dispersed phase and a load factor B of the tubular reactor is ≥0.8. A carboxylic acid preferably is made to react with acetylene to convert it into a corresponding vinyl ester.
