To obtain a Lyocell(R) fiber nonwoven fabric having a high strength and excellent in dimensional stability and to provide a method for producing the same.
This cellulose fiber nonwoven fabric is obtained by forming a web arranged with many clustered and interlaced filament groups drawing a sine wave curve as a total, interlacing fibrils generated from each of the filament yarns and filaments, and adhering crossing points of them. This method for producing the cellulose fiber nonwoven fabric is to support a web of many clustered filament groups consisting of Lyocell(R) fiber multifilaments on a net or a roller, injecting 10-100kg/cm2 high pressure water from a nozzle from the side of the web so as to generate fibrils form each of the filament yarns for interlacing the fibrils each other and with the filament yarns, while interlacing the filament yarns.
