Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semipermeable membrane having high alkali resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a cellulose mixed ester represented by the structural formula of formula (I), in which the degree of substitution when X are acyl groups is 2.91-3.0, where the acyl groups comprise benzoyl groups (A) which may have a substituent and benzoyl groups (B) which may have a substituent different than that of the benzoyl groups (A). When the degree of substitution is 3.0, the degree of substitution of the benzoyl groups (A) is 1.5-2.9, and the degree of substitution of the benzoyl groups (B) is 0.1-1.5. (In general formula (I), all or some of X are acyl groups; and, if some of X are acyl groups, the remainder are H or alkyl groups, and n is an integer from 20 to 20,000.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
