Abstract:
To provide a cement composition for ground improvement capable of applying to soil of plenty of organic material such as volcanic ash clay and humic soil, as a cement composition for ground improvement and capable of combining excellent strength development and suppression of an amount of elution of hexavalent chromium.SOLUTION: A cement composition for ground improvement including cement and anhydrous gypsum, in which, as an anhydrous gypsum, the anhydrous gypsum with a Blane specific surface area of 4500 cm2/g or larger or a cumulative volume passage 50% particle size of 15 μm or smaller is used. The Brane specific surface area of the anhydrous gypsum is preferably 4900 cm2/g or larger, more preferably 6000 cm2/g or larger, and still more preferably 10000 cm2/g or larger. Also, a cumulative volume passage 50% particle size of the anhydrous gypsum is preferably 12 μm or smaller, more preferably 8 μm or smaller, and furthermore preferably 5 μm or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: None
