Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small support structure of a chair while it is equipped with a synchro rocking mechanism and a slide mechanism.SOLUTION: The invention is a chair seat support structure 10 including: a pedestal 11; a seating face installation part 12 for supporting a seating face; a backrest installation part 13 for supporting a backrest; a synchro rocking mechanism 14 that synchronously tilts the seating face installation part and the backrest installation part; and a slide mechanism 15 that is fastened in the lower face of the pedestal. The pedestal is provided, in front of the lower face, with an adjustment knob 141 which adjusts intensity of the synchro rocking mechanism. The slide mechanism is provided with: a base part 151 which has a pair of rails in the front and rear direction of seating; a slider part 152 which is slidably accepted on the pair of rails of the base part and which has a bottom plate; and an energizing part 153 which is situated between the base part and the slider part and which is installed substantially flush with the rails. The bottom plate of the slider part has a notch at least in a part in the front end, in a manner avoiding the adjustment knob.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
