The chair 1 with the shelf includes a pair of left and right front legs 3, a pair of left and right back legs 4, a seat panel 2 turnable between a horizontal use attitude and a storage attitude standing vertically, and the shelf members 5 placed below the seat panel 2, and a plurality of chairs can be nested with the seat plates 2 in the storage attitude. Front sides of the shelf members 5 are engaged to the left and right front legs 3, back sides are hung by a back hanging support frame 21 turnably engaged to the seat plate 2, an engaging position of the back hanging support frame 21 is ahead of a turning axis 11 of the seat panel 2, the shelf members 5 are horizontal when the seat panel 2 is in the use attitude, and the back hanging support frame 21 is pulled upward as the seat panel 2 turns into the storage attitude from the use attitude and the shelf members 5 tilt upward and backward.
