PURPOSE: To improve water tightness by connecting a space in which a storage battery is housed and the inner section of a housing with an opening section provided with a filter and providing a small hole at a position where the hole is not confronted directly with the opening section, and covering it with a covering body.

CONSTITUTION: A recessed section 1a is provided on the surface of a housing 1 in which a storage battery such as shaver as a charge type electric appliance and an opening 1b with a filter 2 that passes through gas on the bottom and stops the passing of liquid. Simultaneously, a switch handle 3 as a covering body in which a magnet 4 that operates a reed switch 5 as the main switch is provided additionally so as to move in the recessed section 1a and a small hole 1c for draining off is formed at a position where the hole is not confronted directly with the opening 1b between the hole and the side wall of the recessed section 1a. As a result, the combustible hydrogen gas from the storage battery can be exhausted through the opening 1b and the small hole 1c and water can be prevented from being immersed inside at cleaning with water.
