Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent solder to be oxidized, a compound film from being formed, and stabilize soldering quality by allowing its oil content to be retained in a gap of a terminal electrode part.
CONSTITUTION: A terminal electrode part 4 of a square chip resistor consists of a layer conductor 5, an Ni plating layer 6 and a solder layer 7 by screen printing. Oil contents when fluxing treatment is performed by heated oil are contained at a fine gap within a solder layer 7 and a solder metal surface forming a fine gap is covered with a remaining oil 8.
