To provide a cleaning apparatus meeting the needs of a customer which increases efficiency in cleaning, while sufficiently guaranteeing the quality of a cleaning target in consideration of various influences exerted on an environment.
The cleaning apparatus includes: a conveying means for conveying the suspended cleaning target 3 along a conveying passage 5; a washing device 6 for applying a cleaning solution to the cleaning target 3; a rough rinsing device 8 and a rinsing and dehydration device 9 for washing, by water, the cleaning target 3 with the cleaning solution applied thereto by the washing device 6; and the rinsing and dehydration device 9 for dehydrating the cleaning target 3. The washing device 6 comprises: a housing 12 arranged in the middle of the conveying passage 5, where the cleaning target 3 is conveyed in and out; and a nozzle part 13 arranged in the housing 12, so as to spray the cleaning solution in the form of a mist. The cleaning solution is sprayed in the form of the mist from the nozzle part 13, and the cleaning target 3 is made to pass through the housing 12 in the cleaning solution atmosphere.
