Abstract:
To reduce adhering of dust by static electricity generated at the time of the cleaning process of a panel surface executed at the time of forming a low reflection coat on the panel surface of a display device.
With respect to material (glass) to be the base of the panel 1 of a CRT, a panel surface is cleaned by using a cleaning cloth 7 woven with warps A and wafts B consisting of each of two kinds of material (such as wool and silk) generating positive and negative charging tendencies on a charging column, respectively. Thus, the yield of the low reflection coat can be improved by reducing the possibility of the generation of adhering of dust caused by charging at the time of forming the low reflection coat.
