Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely prevent vines from climbing by fitting the suppressing member of a dimension so that the area of the member may come in contact with a plurality of the stays of lengths equal to or larger than previously set ones, in common, on a plurality of the stays stretched from a utility pole.

CONSTITUTION: On a ground surface 1, a utility pole 4 with a power wire 2 and telephone wire 3 is erected. Besides, stays 5, 6 extending respectively from the power wire 2 and the telephone wire 3 are stretched to the ground surface 1 from the utility pole 4. Then, the suppressing member 9 of a dimension so that the area may be come in contact with the stays 5, 6 of lengths equal to or larger than previously set ones, in common along the longitudinal directions of the stays 5, 6 and so that the surface of the member 9 may be smoothed, is fixed on the stays 5, 6.
