To prevent dew condensation water from scattering by lowering the height of a heat pump device.
A clothes dryer includes a groove part 31 for flowing dew condensation water which has condensed at an evaporator 20 into a discharge port 30. The groove part 31 is located at a bottom part of a heat exchange chamber 23 between the evaporator 20 and a condenser 18, and formed in a direction crossing a dry air flow passing through the evaporator 20 and the condenser 18. The groove part 31 includes: an inflow part 32 for flowing dew condensation water which has condensed at the evaporator 20 and a part of the dry air flow passing through the heat exchange chamber 23 into the groove part 31 on one end part 31a side of the groove 31; an outflow part 33 for flowing out the dew condensation water which has flowed into the groove part 31 from the inflow part 32 on the other end part 31b side of the groove part 31; and piping chambers 29a and 29b for accommodating a pipeline 21 protruding outward from an end part of the evaporator 20 in the heat exchange chamber 23. At the same time, an opening part 34 is provided at a support part 26 supporting the condenser 18, so that the dry air flowing out of the outflow part 33 to the piping chamber 29b goes back to a circulation air path 15 via the opening part 34.
