Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving clothes dryer in which the amount of introduced outside air is increased and an output of a compressor is raised to improve drying performance.SOLUTION: The clothes dryer includes: an air circulation path 14 which is provided with a radiator 18 and a heat sink 17 and for introducing drying air into a drying chamber 4; a blower 19 for sending air to the drying chamber 4 through the air circulation path 14; a housing part 25 in which at least one of components other than a heat exchanger constituting a heat pump device 24 is disposed on one of outsides of the heat exchange part 17a of the heat sink 17 and the radiator 18; an exhaust port 26 provided in the air circulation path 14 from the drying chamber 4 to the heat sink 17 and for exhausting a part of circulation air; and an intake port 27 for introducing outside air into the air circulation path 14. The air circulation path 14 has a first path 28 in which the heat exchange part 17a of the heat sink 17 is disposed and a second path 29 formed in the housing part 25, and outside air flowing in from the intake port 27 joins the circulation air passing through the first path 28 after passing through the second path 29.
